I Sent Tokens to the Wrong Address. Can You Reverse the Transaction?
Due to the irreversible nature of blockchains, successful transactions are final and cannot be reversed. Thus, if:
- You sent to the wrong wallet address or to a contract address
- You sent your tokens to an unsupported network
In these cases, you will most likely never be able to reverse the transaction.
Unless you know the owner of the wallet, tokens sent to the wrong wallet address are most likely lost forever. There are no other ways to retrieve the funds.
Additionally, please take note that Solscan is a block explorer for the Solana blockchain. We only display and interpret what happened on the Solana blockchain.
- We are not a wallet service provider
- We do not store your private keys
- We do not process transactions and we do not have control over your transactions
- We cannot troubleshoot transaction failures
- We cannot refund your transactions
Always exercise caution whenever you are sending your tokens. Please double-check that the address you are sending to matches the recipient’s address before confirming or executing a transaction.
